I am a passionate and dedicated gynecologist who is able to provide examination and health advice in English to all foreign patients.
I graduated from the Medical University of Silesia, where I finished full-time studies. I completed my post-graduate internship at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic in Tychy. During my specialisation training I served a stint at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Ward of the Health Centre in Mikołów.
Afterwards, I continued my work there combining duties of the senior assistant at OB/GYN Ward with tasks in the Women’s Health Centre, at the hospital childbirth school and in The Mikołów Amazons Club of Women after Mastectomy. I also did an international internship at the OB/GYN and Breast Clinic in Grevenbroich, Germany.
My 10-year work at the hospital enabled me to gather numerous practical skills and gain a well-rounded education quickly.
I defended my doctoral thesis on “Quality of life and sexual functioning of women with stress and mixed urinary incontinence” at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice.
I am the author and co-author of many articles published in medical journals. I am actively improving my qualifications through participation in OB/GYN courses and training.
I have run the obstetrics and gynecology practice in Mikołów for 7 years.
Moreover, I perform prenatal testing whose cost is covered by the Polish national health service (NFZ) in the non-public health care centre NZOZ MedArt in Żory and commercial testing in Katowice at the diagnostic and therapeutic centres ArtesMed and Zięba Clinic.
Additionally, I give lectures for pregnant women at the childbirth school “Juliamed”. I also train urogynecological physiotherapists as a part of BeBo ® Fizjo programme.s
Agnieszka Rusin, MSN
I completed full-time graduate studies majoring in obstetrics at the Medical University of Silesia. I received a master’s degree in obstetrics with specialization in OB/GYN nursing. I am also a Lactation Consultant.
I have worked at the University Clinical Centre of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice-Ligota since 2013. I gained my professional experience working for a number of years in the maternity ward. Presently, I deliver babies in the obstetrics ward of the University Clinical Centre.
Martyna Mączka, MSN, PhD in Health Sciences
I am a midwife in the labour ward of the Łubinowa Maternity Hospital in Katowice. Moreover, I conduct classes for women at the childbirth school “Juliamed”. I also deliver babies at their homes and visit newly delivered mothers.
My qualifications include graduate and doctoral studies in obstetrics with the OB/GYN specialization. I am also an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and a Hypnobirthing Instructor. Additionally, I completed courses in herbalism, commodity science, naturopathic medicine and homeopathy.
I support women at every stage of pregnancy, labour and breastfeeding, providing them with holistic care.
I completed my graduate studies in obstetrics at the Medical University of Silesia in 2009. I perfected my professional skills in the delivery rooms of the Silesian OB/GYN wards, working in a fertility clinic and visiting newly delivered mothers.
Since I became a Board Certified Lactation Consultant, I have provided lactation counselling in Mikołów (and vicinity).
Since 2021, I have pursued my academic career as a teaching and research assistant at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice. I am a co-author of the book Caesarean section and childbirth after a caesarean section, published by Natuli in 2020.
Adriana Hanus, MSc
I work as a receptionist and medical secretary at the OB/GYN practice. I completed my graduate studies at the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice.
I majored in public health and specialized in epidemiology and biostatistics.
I love working with people and I am great at interacting with patients.
Anna Rusin, MSN
I have worked as a midwife at the Health Centre in Mikołów for 8 years. At present, I deliver babies in the labour ward, which also includes water births. My qualifications include graduate studies in obstetrics with the OB/GYN specialization, courses in neonatal resuscitation and vaccination, wound healing and blood donation.
